Aisha was appointed as Head of Medical Science at InfanDx in September 2022. She joined the company after finishing her habilitation (post-doctoral lecturing qualification) in July 2022 at the University of Giessen (Germany). She holds a medical degree, a PhD in neuroscience and a psychology diploma from University of Giessen (Germany). In her PhD, she focused on molecular genetic associations of emotion perception and EEG-correlates. Later, as Principal Investigator with a research grant from the German Research Foundation (DFG), she focused on genetic and hormonal interactions of emotional processing and neurophysiological imaging in fertile women across the menstrual cycle. She teaches “Psychoneuroimmunology” as professor at the University of Giessen.
